Himalayan Tahr were released into New Zealand’s steep and snowy Southern Alp’s mountain range just over one hundred years ago. They thrive in the most extreme mountain top areas which makes them such a challenging and prized game species. The bull’s magnificent mane is the true trophy for most hunters and these animals make incredible mounts.
